| This past Labor Day weekend, Sunday evening August 31st
around 7pm, my wife's son (my stepson) Aaron Christopher Gillming, was
killed in a horrific car accident at the age of 28.
Aaron had just recently switched jobs and was still 3 weeks away from having his life insurance policy kick in. His previous employer, ABS Wireless in Owasso, Oklahoma, still owed Aaron $3700 in back-pay and was refusing to pay him. Aaron could not afford to hire an attorney yet but he was planning on doing that as soon as his new job got him caught up on his bills. With no insurance, behind on his bills, combined with the fact that he owed more on his truck than the truck is actually worth, there is nothing left to help cover funeral expenses or to leave anything to support his 4 and a half year old son. Aaron's son was always his most cherished possession. He was a great Dad to his son Braden Ryder Gillming. We all call him Ryder and he's the spittin' image of his dad. It's almost eerie how much they look alike. Especially if you could see some pictures of Aaron when he was that age.
We are putting a Trust Fund together for Ryder. I'm asking you to please consider donating something to Aaron's son. This is one small thing I can do that will hopefully make a difference. It doesn't matter if you can only donate $1. Anything will help. I have a son myself. Only one child. Yet I can only imagine what it would be like to raise and nurture a child and then some day have to bury them. All I can do is try to help make things easier for my wife and do anything I can to ensure that Aaron's son will always be taken care of, have food on the table, school supplies, clothing, etc. Please also keep us in your prayers. I'm very concerned about my wife Brenda right now. I have never seen her this down. Understandably, of course.
